Several warnings over the bathing water quality at Sidmouth have been issued this week.

The problem is affecting swimming and water quality in Sidmouth. During this warning people are urged not to enter the sea. 

The Surfers Against Sewage app has also issued a warning saying "storm sewage has been discharged from a sewer overflow in this location, (Sidmouth Town) in the past 48 hours".

The first warning this week was issued on Wednesday, (March 22) and again today, (Thursday, March 23).

According to the new South West WaterLive map, there are two storm overflow discharge pipes in Sidmouth, one in the town and one by Jacob's Ladder, a warning has been issued for the overflow near town.

A warning not to swim has also been issued in Budleigh Salterton and Sandy Bay today, (March 23).
