Sidmouth Community Christmas lunch will be held on Christmas Day for residents of Sidmouth who are on their own during the festive season.
A full Christmas Lunch will be provided as well as drinks and a gift, and transport can be arranged if required.
The event at Stowford Rise Community Centre is for people who would otherwise be alone at Christmas.
Carla Scott and four others are organising the lunch with volunteer helpers.
She said: “The past two years have been a hot meal delivery on Christmas Day, so it’s going to be fantastic to be able to meet again.
“The event is completely free of charge to guests, and transport can be arranged if needed.”
