On Saturday July 8 The Rising Sun at Sidford had a Euchar Evening In Memory of the late Michael Channing and raised £256 plus there was a further £56.40 in the donation box.
Wendy Cummins organier of Seaton and Beer RNLI said: "Stephen and Debbie Channing, Jill Sroker and Louis Squance plus RNLI Volunteers Nigel and Beryl Ruddle are in the photograph. Thank you goes to Phil Tookey the Landlord of the Rising Sun for his support and hosting the evening. Phil is also in the photograph.
"Although there is no longer a branch of the RNLI in Sidmouth Nigel and Beryl Ruddle from Sidmouth have joined our Seaton Beer and District Branch and are servicing the RNLI Sidmouth collection boxes and receiving donations and any funds raised for the RNLI at Sidmouth, Sidford and the surrounding area.
