A funeral procession took place through Sidmouth on Friday (December 22) for the funeral of Sidmouthian David Govier.
David was well known in the town and was often seen drinking a cup of tea on the wooden seats just outside where he lived on the sea front.
David passed away on December 8 - the date of his late wife Jane's birthday.
The sun shone as the funeral cortege passed many friends and family who lined the route on Sidmouth Esplanade to say a final goodbye to David, before a private family funeral took place elsewhere in the town.
